Fourth of July

Our 4th of July celebration was happy enough for us! The wards that meet in our building were having a 7am flag raising and potluck breakfast. Um, not for me, thank you. I'm not very patriotic at 7am, not to mention eating cold scrambled eggs that somebody else cooked, guacala! I told Ben that we should be patriotic by supporting Capitalism and going to have breakfast at Cracker Barrel with all the tourists. James was happy to oblige and he ate a pancake and bacon :) (This kid loves bacon as much as Leslie H., which is to say, A LOT! Should I tell the Leslie bacon story?) Anyway, we then continued supporting the economy and went to walmart to buy a sprinkler for James to play in. We don't have 1 sq foot of grass, so that's about all we can do. He loved it!

So funny. . . . you can not believe the number of times I told the "Leslie bacon" story while we were with family over the 4th. Amazingly enough, she shares the fettish with other family members!
